Working of Having Fun at Google's Headquarters?

In modern times, the develop of work activities has became in a traditional and rutinal process. It's inusual that in this era of monotony a "new company" tends to change the day by day activites in order to get people motivated.

As we can see through Youtube, in Google's offices counts for employees with many profits and advantages for them. First of all, Google tends to change the monotonous activities and take a huge advantage against other companies. In Google's headquarters counts with doctors, gyms, restaurants, pools; also you can go wih your slippers to work. This to considerate, that the employee develop in a good environment, besides the plus that these things are free.

On the other hand, Google could be critcized of their new methodical activities. Firstly, this method can be look in a different way, employees could be misunderstoodand distract of their normal activities. Equally important for the company, these extra expense must be difficult the main porpouses of them, in this critical economical age. To summarize, Google needs to focus their employees that all this priviledges are must be showed in work develop.

Undoubtedly, Google created a new way of work, in where employees can do other activities to motivate in work, in order to get better results. Taking everything into account, many are following the steps of Google to stay in market. These are realized that workers are fundamental in process. In our opinion these methods can work if they are balanced between work and other activities to get better results.

Shattered Glass

It is important to highlight that the events of Shattered Glass are based in a true story. This movie narrate the life of Stephen Glass a Journalist in United States who became famous thanks to their publications whom was a lie. In additon, he failed in his main purpose as a Journalist who is gave the information to people with a middled opinion of them. Also, failed with the freedom thah Journalism has in the population, and fail in the confidence that people has on Newspapers. I think that Glass, don't measure the consequences of his acts and betray the opinion that he invented.

To Journalism in general, is to considerate that every aspect, in very word that they wrote became in a certain point arguments for people who believes in the articles that wrote. This business has to recover in ethics and they have to choose what is more trascedental, give real news or creat whopping great lies to become more riches?

Use Not-Use of Uniforms in School

Although some students criticize uniforms, any schools put in their rules this formal dress as an important element.

Traditionally, uniforms has a mean of distinction. Since the XIX th century that become in a regular wear to use day by day in Anglo-Saxon culture, that impact in many countries included Colombia. In addition, Schools implement this outfit in order to get symbolic equality between students and to get the reflex of them in the behavior and looks of students.

On the other hand, some students don´t feel comfortable using uniforms. Due to the fact that teenagers become rebels and arguments to debate anything. Consequently in modern times, some kind of "sub-cultures" like emos or punks, have certain disrespect for authority. Therefore, these cultures take the use of uniforms like an obligation and they decorate it, not regard the tradition of it.

Taking everything into account, we can see that are supporters and opposers of the use of uniforms in Schools. In my opinon, I think that is important to understand each view of point, but I believe that rules are state to expire.

Opinion of "Treasury may capitalize banks by end of October"

First of all, it is important to analyze that US market is trascendental in world's economy. The huge issue is to determinate the consequences of this important economical fall. In addition, the purposes that US government intend to fulfil this fall can repercute all economical aspects around the world. In these times of globalization, the effects of one action in an important rich country like US, Germany or Japan can affect small countries like Colombia. The objective of US Congress to stop this fall, has to remedy the impact of population who has loss many percentage of the value of this houses. To conclude, Governments has to warn Economical participants like Banks that the effects in Economy of the increment of earnings who was the main cause of this problem.

ARTICLE OF GLOBALIZATION: Treasury may capitalize banks by end of October: source

Some critics of the proposals for buying soured mortgage-related products have said the process would take so long that it would reduce its efficiency, whereas a capital injection through share purchases would immediately put more cash for lending into the banking system.

The question may be whether banks are willing to accept the government as a stakeholder in return for the new capital.

The source said the injections would likely be made public, possibly inducing some reluctance among bankers to use it for fear that they would be identified as vulnerable institutions.

In addition, it was unclear whether a bank that wanted to participate would have to agree to conditions like limits on executive pay and an end to "golden parachutes," or rich pay packets for departing executives.

While public fury remains high at what is perceived as excessive pay for financial firms, corporations are generally reluctant to cede control over compensation levels, perhaps especially so to the government.

Paulson made clear on Wednesday that he interprets the authority granted by the financial rescue package as sweeping and that he intends to make full use of it. He said most attention has focused on Treasury plans to buy distressed securities from banks but made clear that wasn't the extent of his new authorities.

"We will use all of the tools we've been given to maximum effectiveness, including strengthening the capitalization of financial institutions of every size," he said.

“LIVIN´ON THE EDGE” AEROSMITH

There's somethin' wrong
with the world today
I don't know what it is
Something's wrong with our eyes

We're seein' things in a different way
And God knows it ain't his
It shore ain't no surprise

Livin' on the edge
Livin' on the edge
Livin' on the edge
Livin' on the edge

There's somethin' wrong
with the world today
The light bulb's gettin dim
There's meltdown in the sky

If you can judge a wise man
By the color of his skin
Then mister you're a better man than I

[Chorus:]
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself from fallin'
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself at all
Livin' on the edge
You can't stop yourself from fallin'
Livin' on the edge

Tell me what you think
about your sit-u-a-tion
Complication - aggravation
Is getting to you

If chicken little tells you
that the sky is fallin'
Even if it wasn't would you
still come crawlin'
Back again
I bet you would my friend
Again & again & again & again & again

Tell me what you think
about your sit-u-a-tion
Complication - aggravation
Is getting to you

If chicken little tells you
that the sky is fallin'
Even if it was would you
still come crawlin'
Back again
I bet you would my friend
Again & again & again & again

Something right with the world today
And everybody knows it's wrong
But we can tell 'em no or
we could let it go
But I'd would rather be a hanging on
[Chorus]

Livin' on the edge
Livin' on the edge
Livin' on the edge
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
[Chorus]

Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself
You can't help yourself
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself at all
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself
You can't help yourself
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself
You can't help yourself
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself from fallin'

"Livin' on the Edge" is a song by American hard rock band Aerosmith. It was released in 1993 as the second single from the band's commercially successful album Get a Grip. The song was written by Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and Mark Hudson. In “Livin’ on the Edge” Mark talks about his experiences with rocks’ elite through monologues, funny anecdotes, impersonations and lots of music. The stories will leave you in stitches and the songs will keep playing in your head. His colorful outfits, colorful facial hair and colorful wit will hook you right from the start.

The song received much critical acclaim and won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for the year 1993. The popular video for the song earned the band a Viewer's Choice award at the 1993 MTV Video Music Awards.

What the Critics Say

Get a Grip turned out to be one of Aerosmith's most contrived and contemptible records, but fans never would have known from advance EP Livin' on the Edge, which whips out two extra, exceptional treats. First, two stripped-down demos of the apocalyptic, Yardbirds-referencing "Livin' on the Edge" bring out the quintet's individual contributions much clearer than the glossed-over album version. And the dilapidating finale fits the song better as well.

Doug Stone, All Music Guide

OUR OPINION

We decide to choose this song because we can understand many things that are wrong in the world, and bring some possibilities that not are explicit in the song, to solve these big problems. In the same way with the lyric we can see some of the reasons of why the world has these changes. We Think that It´s a good song that represent many feelings of the modern society, for example don’t see beyond of the reality, that have like consequence that when people solve problems don’t bring the best solution. On the other hand we need to learn to understand the other people and their beliefs, and the song show the importance of this aspect. Like a consequence of this discrimination, we can see many wars in the world for this reason, then is very important to learn to accept the other people with their beliefs and probably, we can life in peace and in a better world. Furthermore we need to fight with the racism, other method to discriminate, because in some cases we offend people without realizing, and this probable cause that the world doesn’t evolucionate at maximum. To conclude we need to understand some things of the world, and learn to tolerate to all the people, and if we can do that, we can life in a better world.

Could celebrities or Public Figures, escape from the host of media?

Since 50’s, when Elvis Prestley became a huge star, tabloids and news were sold out, due to the fact that people want to know everything about Hollywood or Music Stars. After The Beatles and Frank Sinatra, who symbolize the highest rank of idolatry, this kind of journalism became famous in the Anglo-Saxon culture, and with time all over the world.

Millions of tabloids and magazines are sold around the world in one month. First of all, the greatest companies who are the owners of magazines and tabloids expend a lot of time and huge quantities of money having photographers called “paparazzies” and journalists who create their owners news. This is an enormous business who gave their owners huge earnings. Those companies focus in the market of rumors and scandals of celebrities, and home women and maids love that.

On the other hand, celebrities and public figures are the victims of this kind of journalism. Firstly, tabloids invent news about celebrities, these affirmations are lies. These classes of things make that customers waste their money and damage the image of public figures. Nevertheless, they make a great and free publicity for be a cover of these magazines. Stars of entertainment have been to sue these companies for negative aspect that tabloids mention in articles.

It’s important to result, that in one way or other companies and public figures are taken advantage of this. And customers are the guilty of this attention that stars have in these times.

Opinion of Article “The happiest days of your life”

Many children have disorders according a study of University of Maastricht in Netherlands. First of all, many students are under pressure in one way or other this could be school or family. The issue is established by the lack of focus or concentration that evidently leads to get bad grades. In addition, internal problems, like separations of violence in families affect directly in children. Thus, children have problems to adapt in socialization with others and get awful grades.

Music Industry

First of all, music industry that focuses in the sales and marketing of artist has become through the last two decades in a decadent business for huge corporations and performers. Firstly, the issue began with the now popular move of mp3 that gave an important hit to this market. In addition, the proliferation of this kind of system confronts the higher prices that companies like Sony or Universal offers to customers when you buy a cd. Most importantly, If you compare the easy way to carry an iPod with all your music instead a huge box with your entire collection of discs in it. Taking everything in consideration, music industry is in an evident decay and companies in this moment are losing huge quantities of money.
